Understand the elements.
Not just their symbols.
A wall chart gives you a box, a letter and a number. Elemora gives you the element — what it is, how its electrons sit, what it is used for, and why it behaves the way it does. Then it helps you remember all of it.

The table
The whole table, laid out the way it really is
Every one of the 118 elements sits in its true position — groups, periods, and the lanthanides and actinides on their own rows underneath. Pinch to zoom in, drag to move around, and tap any element to open it.
- Search by name, by symbol, or by atomic number
- Filter to metals, nonmetals or metalloids in one tap
- Filter by family — alkali, alkaline earth, transition, post-transition, halogen, noble gas — and combine more than one at a time
- Colour-coded so the shape of the table tells you something on its own
Element pages
Tap an element and actually learn something
Each element opens into a page built to be read, not just referenced. Oxygen is “the element that makes fire and breathing possible”. Carbon gets a plain explanation of why four bonds change everything.
- Atomic number, atomic mass and electron configuration
- A shell diagram — with a note saying plainly that it is a simplified model and that electrons do not travel on fixed circular paths
- Quick facts: category, state at 25 °C, group and period, and more properties a tap away
- Written explanations and common uses, in sentences rather than symbols
- Tap the heart to keep an element in your favourites
Study
Reading it once is not the same as knowing it
Elemora's Study tab turns the table into something you practise. Pick up a daily challenge, run a set of flashcards, or drill until the symbols come without thinking.
- Flashcards — memorise, quiz and reinforce, a set at a time
- Practice modes — including quick quizzes and identification drills such as “which element has this atomic number?”
- A daily challenge, with a fresh set the next day
- Tap to flip, swipe to move on, then mark each card “I knew this” or “Review again”
- A day streak and a running mastery percentage, so a short session still counts for something
Build
Put elements together and see what you made
Add elements one at a time and Elemora keeps up: it writes the formula, works out the molar mass, counts the atoms, and tells you when what you have built matches something in its catalogue.
- Formula, Hill formula, molar mass and atom count as you go
- Recognised compounds are named — caffeine comes back as C8H10N4O2, 194.19 g/mol, molecular (covalent)
- A drawn skeletal structure for compounds that have one
- Open it in 3D and look at the molecule from any angle
- Save compounds, favourite them, and come back to them later
Elemora is honest about the edges. Its bonding hints are labelled not a verification inside the app — they are there to help you think, not to certify that a structure is chemically correct.
Progress
See what you know, and what is still missing
Progress is the honest tab. It counts how many of the 118 you have actually mastered, how accurate you have been lately, and where the biggest gap still is — then tells you what to do about it.
- A mastery ring: elements mastered out of 118
- Compounds studied and your recent accuracy, side by side
- A rank that moves as you go — Periodic Pathfinder, then Pattern Reader — with a plain line about where the most room left is
- Activity at a glance: day streak, cards answered, elements started, favourites saved
